This is an EXACT reproduction of a book published before 1923. This IS NOT an OCR'd book with strange characters, introduced typographical errors, and jumbled words. We believe this work is culturally important, and despite the imperfections, have elected to bring it back into print as part of our continuing commitment to the preservation of printed works worldwide. We appreciate your understanding of the imperfections in the preservation process, and hope you enjoy this valuable book.

While the answers are given to every problem in this key, they do not all contain the solution step-by-step, Only occasionally has this posed a challenge, but with time and thought we have been able to figure it out. I love the approach to Ray's because the emphasis is on the rules that govern the process and the student's need to think about them. This focus solves the problem that modern math students face...."I don't know how to get the answer." It eliminates the idea that there are a gazillion different ways things to know, and the student must memorize them all so that he can solve the million different types of problems. With Ray's approach, the student applies the rules to each step and this leads to the answer. Sometimes it is even helpful to give the answer up front and let the child work his way to it. One thing to know...students one hundred years ago were very familiar with conversions for bushels, pecks, rods, acres, etc. However, these conversion rates are easily found on the internet. Size 0.8" H x 7.1" L x 4.6" W, 213 pages
